Wright plays as a centre forward, and he has scored more than 40 goals for Salford’s youth and reserve teams.
The youngster proved his goalscoring prowess by scoring twice in Salford City’s 2-2 pre+season draw against FC United on Tuesday.
Wright scored in the 47th and 60th minute, helping Karl Robinson’s side maintain their unbeaten start to the pre-season.

Liverpool continue talks over potential move
Liverpool are continuing talks with Salford City as the Reds look to reach an agreement for the youngster.
Arsenal and Leicester City have a long standing interest in Wright.
Manchester City made a play to sign the 17-year-old in May and maintain an interest.
Liverpool look to be in the driving seat but talks are still deadlocked as an agreement looks to be reached.
It is believed that Liverpool are offering an incentivised package for Wright with Salford City holding out for a larger guaranteed up front fee at the moment.
With Wright proving his quality in the Salford first-team, the Reds will be hoping to secure his services as they look to add another talented attacker to the club’s academy.
