Liverpool FC provided the use of its Academy indoor training centre today as the prepare for one of the biggest games in the club’s history.

Liverpool beat Accrington 2-0 at Anfield thanks to a Billy Liddell brace.
Understandably, the game at Anfield is already generating a lot of buzz among the Accrington Stanley players, as the club’s captain, Seamus Conneely, revealed in our exclusive interview.
Conneely also opened up on what the tie means to the Accrington fans: “It’s fantastic for the fans.
There was a chance the game was going to get called off for a frozen pitch but we still had 150 to 200 fans that travelled down from Accrington and it cost a lot of money.”
Apart from presenting Accrington players with a lifetime opportunity to compete with some of the best players in Europe and to play in the best atmosphere in England, the FA Cup tie also offers the League Two side a chance to earn a substantial financial windfall from the tie.
The coffers of the side hovering in the relegation zone above the football league is set to be boosted by £500,000.
