Millwall are pricing Mihail Ivanovic out of a move away after demanding in excess of £10million for him, putting off Leicester, sources have told Football Insider.

A number of clubs have been eager to acquire the services of the Serbia international after he bagged 12 goals in 37 Championship appearances for the Lions last campaign.

The number nine joined from FK Vojvodina last summer and impressed in his debut campaign, helping lead the south London club to within touching distance of the play-offs.

His performances and rapid rise to stardom in the English second-tier has naturally caught the eye of the Foxes who are looking to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The six-foot-two Serb, known for his excellent hold-up play and aerial ability, is demonstrating excellent striking qualities at just 20-years of age, which has linked him with a move away from The Den this summer.

Football Insider reported that Leicester made an enquiry over Ivanovic to Millwall as they sought to bolster their attacking options ahead of an attempt to return back to the English top-flight.

Similarly, Italian outfit Parma made an approach to sign Ivanovic last month, as revealed by Football Insider, with nothing emerging from their move.

Yet, just like the Foxes, it appears the Serie A side have also been put off by Millwall‘s asking price for their star striker.

Football Insider also revealed in July that Everton and Wolves are interested in Ivanovic and may keep the Serbian on their radar with a matter of days left in the window.

Although it appears the Foxes could be about to halt their pursuit of Ivanovic, they will likely have to brace for a potential exit of midfield magician Bilal El Khannouss.

Sources have told Football Insider that Crystal Palace remain interested in signing Bilal El Khannouss this summer but their attention has also turned elsewhere.

Former midfielder Conor Gallagher could move back to Crystal Palace on an initial loan deal, Football Insider has been told.

This comes after Crystal Palace lost Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, as the Eagles look to quickly find a replacement for their talisman.
