Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers have indicated interest in signing one Liverpool defender.
Liverpool’s busy transfer window is set to continue with a few more arrivals and possible exits.
The Reds have already confirmed three signings in Jeremie Frimpong, Armin Pecsi and Florian Wirtz.
A move for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez is also in the works.
The Hungarian, who arrived in the UK for his medical, will be announced as a Liverpool player soon, likely on Tuesday.
Liverpool are not focusing on arrivals alone, though.
Arne Slot’s side are well aware of the need to balance the squad and are working on some outgoings.
Nat Phillips has officially completed a permanent move to Championship side West Brom, in a deal that is expected to fetch Liverpool around £3million ($4m), inclusive of add-ons.
Jarell Quansah is also close to a move to Bayer Leverkusen, while there is a strong indication that Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa have played their last games for Liverpool.
But in addition to the more senior members of the Liverpool team, some of the club’s youngsters are also attracting interest from top clubs.
Earlier today, it was reported that Wrexham and Sheffield United are eyeing a swoop for Liverpool youngster Owen Beck.
DaveOCKOP can now exclusively reveal that Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers are prepared to make an offer to sign the talented Welsh left back.
Beck spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship, where he made 24 league appearances and scored once.
He won the club’s Young Player of the Season after impressing on loan at the Championship club.
He has since returned to Liverpool, but could be on the move, with Rangers keen on signing him.
Liverpool have held preliminary talks with Owen Beck over a proposed new deal.
It was believed that Beck would leave on loan and that may still happen.
But the Scottish giants are interested in a permanent move for the defender.
Rangers’ interest in Beck is not new?
Last season, we exclusively revealed that Rangers, alongside fellow Scottish Premiership side Celtic, were interested in taking Beck on loan.
Rangers have now made their interest formal with a bid for the 22-year-old.
Owen Beck, who plays as a left-back, has made three senior appearances for Liverpool.
Since making his Liverpool debut in October 2021, he has had loan spells at Famalicão, Bolton Wanderers, Dundee United, and most recently Blackburn Rovers.
An interesting few weeks lie ahead.
Owen Beck will either sign a new deal and leave on loan or he will move permanently this summer.
