Swansea City are in advanced talks to sign Celtic striker Adam Idah, sources have told Football Insider.
The Championship outfit are closing in on the capture of the Glasgow giants’ front man, as they look to bolster their attacking ranks.
Swansea are discussing a multi-million fee with Celtic for Idah as they work on a late-window deal.
The Welsh outfit are hopeful of securing a full agreement by Monday night’s cut-off, which would see the 24-year-old make the move back to English football.
Idah has had a poor start to the season for Celtic and has failed to find the back of the net in each of his four appearances in 2025/26.
To make matters worse, the Ireland international missed in the penalty shootout, as Brendan Rodgers’ side were knocked out of the Champions League by FC Kairat in the play-off round.
The embarrassing defeat could turn out to be one of Idah’s last games for the Hoops, as Swansea close in on a permanent deal to sign him.

Meanwhile, Rodgers is high on the shortlist of names Nottingham Forest would consider if Nuno Espirito Santo leaves the club, sources have told Football Insider.
Whispers are intensifying that Espirito Santo could be sacked by Forest, after news of a behind-the-scenes bust-up with owner Evangelos Marinakis went public.
Global head of football at the City Ground, Edu Gaspar, has also reportedly had a run-in with the Portuguese manager, who is unhappy with the club’s transfer activity.
Football Insider first revealed in April that Rodgers could quit Celtic amid Premier League interest, and sources say that the 52-year-old is firmly in contention for the Forest job if it became available.
