Liverpool star Luis Diaz is in demand as the Reds have rejected an approach from Bayern Munich.
Despite winning the Premier League last term, the Colombian's future has come under scrutiny with interest from the Bundesliga and Barcelona, as well as links with a move to Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
Arne Slot's side have already rebuffed a move from the La Liga champions to sign the former FC Porto forward but now, Diaz has come under the microscope of the German giants as they look to land their attacking target.
According to reports, Bayern are in the market for a wide attacker and are in a battle to sign Spain and Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams.
The ECHO understands the Reds are planning for Diaz to be part of the squad that will defend the Premier League title and have not been scouring the market for a replacement on the left wing.
Liverpool have had a busy summer already with three key signings in Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong, while Diaz's South American compatriot, Darwin Nunez, faces an uncertain future at Anfield.

With the 28-year-old the subject of interest from Barcelona and Bayern, the ECHO has taken a look at what has been said about his future on Merseyside.
Diaz faced questions about his future when he joined his international teammates after the Reds' title win.
The forward expressed his happiness at the Premier League champions but was open in that talks had been held with other clubs, despite having two years remaining on his contract.

The comments came just days after Hansi Flick's side were rebuffed in their efforts to sign him.
"We are currently in contact with Liverpool, because we are talking to clubs, and that’s normal given the transfer market that’s opening," said Diaz.
Now it’s up to them."
It follows on from an admission in March where he teased a future at Liverpool with his eyes on setting a Premier League record for the most goals in the Premier League as a Colombian.
At the time, he had 25 goals, making him the fourth leading goalscorer from the South American country, four behind Hugo Rodallega, six away from Hamilton Ricard and 19 off Aston Villa icon Juan Pablo Angel.
He is now level with the former Wigan Athletic star on 29 goals after an impressive 13-goal return to fire Liverpool to the Premier League title.
"It's a real pleasure for me to be right there close behind them and I realise that maybe I will catch them at some point.
It is true that Luis is a loyal Barcelona fan and it would be his dream to go there," he told Win Sports.
"So far I would like to thank Porto and Liverpool for the way they welcomed him and received him.
"Luis is a player who finds it easy to win over because of the way he is, because of his humility, his work, his dedication, he is a very disciplined player, thank God.
