Leandro Trossard is open to a move away from Arsenal this summer amid growing interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
That is according to former Man United and Sunderland chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the 30-year-old is keen to play regular first-team football next season.
Following the arrivals of Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres in recent weeks, the Belgium international has fallen down the pecking order and feels he may have to leave.
Brown told Football Insider in May that Arsenal were planning to extend Trossard’s contract during the off-season despite Saudi Pro League interest.

However, talks over a new deal failed to advance as Mikel Arteta’s plans to strengthen his attacking options meant the forward would be relegated to a backup role.
The likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are interested in Trossard, while unnamed Premier League clubs have also expressed a desire to land him.
This article contains exclusive comment from Mick Brown, a football transfer expert and former chief scout for Man United and Sunderland among others.

Brown told Football Insider in March that Trossard could be allowed to leave Arsenal with just 12 months remaining on his contract as the Gunners look to cash in.
The former scout, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that
“Leandro Trossard is open to leaving Arsenal,” he told Football Insider.
“He wants to play regular football this season, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to get that at Arsenal with the players they’ve brought in.
“If an offer comes in for him, it might be time for him to move on.
“He’s a good player, but is he going to make the difference that allows Arsenal to win the Premier League?
They don’t think so, so they could let him go.

“If he wants to stay in England, that option could well be there if one of those clubs makes an offer.
“And I’m sure he’ll have suitors abroad too, because like I said he’s not a bad player.
“It will depend on whether he’s happy to be a backup at Arsenal, but if the opportunity comes to be a star player somewhere else, I expect he’ll take it.”
Trossard is not the only player on the fringes of Mikel Arteta’s side who has been linked with a move away in the closing stages of the transfer window.
Football Insider revealed on 4 August that Arsenal will allow Gabriel Jesus to leave, with a return to Brazil growing more likely for the former Man City striker.

As he nears a return from a long injury layoff, the Brazil international has been forced down the pecking order at the Emirates and could now be allowed to leave.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider on 31 July that Arsenal are looking to sell Jesus as Gyokeres and Kai Havertz will be their main attacking options.
