An eyewitness at the horrifying incident in Liverpool has spoken of what she had seen after a man plowed his car through the streets filled with fans of the football club as they celebrated winning the Premier League title.
Footage shows a black BUV entering the road which had been cordoned off, going on to hit multiple people and forcing its way into a crowd for a few seconds before coming to a stop.
Multiple people are said to have been hit by the vehicle, with the man being arrested by Merseyside Police after immediately being detained.
An eyewitness, Natasha Rinaldi, told Sky News: "We saw the parade from my friend's living room by her window.
"Then we heard some screams, we heard screams.
Then the police tried to block them, they did everything they could to push people away...
It read: "We are currently dealing with reports of a road traffic collision in Liverpool city center.
"We were contacted at just after 6 pm today, Monday 26 May, following reports a car had been in collision with a number of pedestrians on Water Street
We will issue more updates as we have them."
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service stated: "NWAS is supporting an incident in Liverpool city centre, following reports of a road traffic collision.
"We are currently assessing the situation and working with other members of the emergency services
