On Wednesday, the Boston Red Sox signed outfielder Roman Anthony to an eight-year, $130 million contract extension that features a $30 million club option in 2034.
Heading into the season, the 21-year-old was widely regarded as the top prospect in all of baseball — and has thus far lived up to the billing.
