Billy Hogan, John Henry, Tom Werner, and Mike Gordon have issued a statement after Diogo Jota's tragic death on Thursday.
Jota was involved in a fatal car accident alongside his brother, Andre Silva, with both pronounced dead at the scene.
Jota had just celebrated winning the UEFA Nations League with Portugal after winning the Premier League title with Liverpool, and tributes have poured in from his shocked teammates.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has also expressed his deepest condolences, and now the owners, under the leadership of Fenway Sports Group, have released a statement.
