Fabrizio Romano has dropped a small but significant update on the summer transfer window for Reds fans

Liverpool have agreed a £79m deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, their fifth major signing after Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Armin Pesci.

The 23-year-old will undergo a medical on Tuesday before boarding a flight to link up with Arne Slot’s squad in Hong Kong later this week

But taking to Instagram, Fabrizio Romano reported that Liverpool is not done with their summer blitz, with more summer signings expected after Ekitike:

“Liverpool are not done yet!”
