The past week has seen Liverpool’s transfer activity reach a fever pitch.
The club’s pursuit of Florian Wirtz has dominated the headlines.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement with Leverkusen for a deal that could soar to a British record fee, with the final package potentially reaching €150 million.
Wirtz, only 22 but already a Bundesliga champion, will go a long way in replacing the creative spark left behind Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Yet, amid the excitement of these new arrivals, the Liverpool fans are also contending with the reality that not every player will be part of this new chapter.
Now the Italian transfer guru has reported that Bayer Leverkusen have made contact with Jarell Quansah, taking to X to report:
“Bayer Leverkusen add Loïc Badé to their shortlist for new centre back in addition to Jarell Quansah.”
“Badé, appreciated internally — and one more name after contacts for Quansah in separate deal from Florian Wirtz?
Leverkusen will sign new CB to replace Tah.”
