Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that a Liverpool forward is expected to leave the club this transfer window.

The 26-year-old has scored four goals in two friendly matches for the Reds, including a hat-trick in Sunday’s 5-0 win over Stoke City.

Nunez is expected to leave this summer, while Luis Diaz is a major target for Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Federico Chiesa’s future remains uncertain, alongside teenager Ben Doak, who is wanted by several clubs.

Chiesa was the most notable absentee as Liverpool confirmed their squad for the pre-season tour to Asia.

The Italy international will stay at Merseyside while a minor issue is assessed, despite scoring against Stoke City at the AXA Training Centre.
