Liverpool have been named as one of the clubs with genuine interest in one of Aston Villa’s most important players.

After sealing the Premier League title this season with four games to go, the Reds are gradually shifting focus to the summer transfer window.

The club is said to be eager to spend big in the summer to fight to secure a 21st league title next season.

Serveral names are being touted as possible players the Reds will sign ahead of next season.

Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, Victor Osimhen and the likes.

Another name has propped up as a player Liverpool are watching-Morgan Rodgers.

This is according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has that the Reds have sent scouts to watch the Aston Villa star.

“Liverpool have sent scouts severally to follow Morgan Rodgers,” Romano said.

“They will monitor his progress and keep an eye on developments in case of suprise movements or potential exits.

However, the journalist added that “a deal for Rodgers is complicated for Liverpool.”
