Liverpool still have plenty of wheeling and dealing to do before the transfer window shuts at the end of August.
The Reds have been one of the most active sides in the market all summer, making some exciting and costly additions to the team.
During the final six weeks or so, there are likely to be more additions, but fans are also expecting to see a number of players sold.
Luis Diaz has never been far from the headlines as the Colombian pushes for a Liverpool exit.
With the Reds potentially looking to recoup some of the money they have spent, a suitable offer could still see Diaz leave.
And while confirming that Bayern Munich are set to launch a new assault for Diaz, journalist Fabrizio Romano suggested who Liverpool could be lining up if their No.
If he does depart for Bayern, he is going to leave a gap that needs filling.
And after giving the latest on how likely the German champions are to get the green light from Liverpool, Romano also dropped a teaser on the Reds’ interest in Lyon’s Malick Fofana.

“For Luis Diaz we’re about to enter into important days,” says the transfer expert.
“Bayern are expected to bid again for Luis Diaz, I expect their new proposal to be an important proposal to try and tempt Liverpool.
“The player is already open to joining Bayern, now it depends on Liverpool.
If Liverpool will open the door, Bayern are prepared to go strong to try and close the deal as soon as possible.”

“Otherwise, another name in the list is Malick Fofana at Olympique Lyon,” Romano adds.
“But top priority for Bayern is to close the deal for Luis Diaz as soon as possible.
“Fofana can be a plan B for Bayern, but can also be an interesting option eventually for Liverpool in case the deal for Luis Diaz goes through.”
Another wide player who could aid the arrival of Fofana is Federico Chiesa.
Question marks have once again arisen over the Italian after he was left out of Liverpool’s squad which travelled to Hong Kong on Sunday night.
And according to Romano, Chiesa is expected to leave the Reds in the coming weeks, with Serie A teams ‘attentive’ to his situation.
“Federico Chiesa is not in the Liverpool squad for the pre-season tour.
