Fabrizio Romano has provided his latest on Liverpool and their potential transfer plans in the summer.
Liverpool’s left-back position has become an area of concern as Andy Robertson, once a cornerstone of the team, shows signs of slowing down due to age and the physical demands of his high-intensity style.
While Kostas Tsimikas has proven to be a suitable deputy, his performances suggest he may not be a viable long-term solution for a club with Liverpool’s ambitions.
The Reds rely heavily on their full-backs for creativity and width, and securing a dynamic, younger left-back who can replicate Robertson’s peak contributions will be crucial for maintaining their tactical edge in the coming seasons.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Liverpool are one of the clubs Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez could land up at in the summer:
“Milos Kerkez, after he changed agents in January – with Lian Sports – the decision of Kerkez is very clear: looking for a top club for the summer transfer window.”
“He’s very respectful with Bournemouth but in the summer he is expected to be one of the players on the way out because there are many clubs interested in Milos Kerkez.
Man United signed Patrick Dorgu, so that position is not expected to be covered again.
“Liverpool are tracking the player, they have been monitoring him.
Kerkez will be on the list for many clubs this summer, not only Liverpool
