Liverpool’s summer transfer window has been anything but quiet.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, there’s still more to come from Liverpool.

Speaking about the current transfer activity, Romano confirmed that while the deal for Milos Kerkez is finally sealed, Liverpool’s transfer dealings are not over.

He revealed that the club had already verbally agreed with Bournemouth over Kerkez, but some technicalities needed to be sorted out.

“There was some technical point to resolve,” Romano explained on the Here We Go Podcast with Fabrizio Romano.

“The agreement between clubs was already verbally done already two weeks ago, so it was not a problem the real point was some technical issue, not a big issue or big problem, just something technical.”

“I can’t say too much but some really technical points to clarify.”

Now, everything has been clarified, and the paperwork for the £40 million move is ready.

“Today for the first time in the last 24 hours, Liverpool and Bournemouth were able to prepare all the paperwork for this deal,” he added.

Kerkez, the highly rated left-back, will travel to Merseyside on Tuesday next week to complete the move.

Romano’s words mark a significant confirmation that the club is set for another boost.

However, he wasn’t done there.

When asked if Liverpool’s business was over, Romano firmly stated, “No, I don’t think so.”

“I don’t think they’re done.”

“I think Liverpool will continue to look for opportunities.”

This suggests that Liverpool is still actively searching for players who can add value and help them mount a serious challenge in the Premier League and Europe.

With a solid foundation already laid, it seems Liverpool will not rest until they’ve made their squad as strong as possible.
