Fabrizio Romano has confirmed his latest Liverpool news involving Wolves.
Liverpool are bracing for a significant summer overhaul with multiple high-profile departures expected as manager Arne Slot looks to reshape his squad following their triumphant Premier League title-winning campaign.
The Reds face crucial decisions on several first-team players.
The most significant departure appears to be striker Darwin Nunez, with Liverpool actively seeking to recoup a substantial portion of their £85 million investment in the Uruguayan international.
Saudi Arabia is touted as his most likely destination, but Atletico Madrid are also in the frame.
Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas appears destined for departure as Liverpool close in on Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.
The 29-year-old defender, who has become something of a “cult-hero” at Anfield since his 2020 arrival from Olympiacos, faces an uncertain future with multiple clubs circling.
Now Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Wolves have approached Liverpool over signing academy star Kieran Morrison.
The Italian reports that the West Midlands club have a genuine interest in the 18-year-old, taking to X to report:
“Understand Wolves have now approached Liverpool for 18 year old highly rated talent Kieran Morrison.”
“Wolves have genuine interest, as he’s on their shortlist with more clubs around Europe also keen.”
Kieran Morrison.
Morrison represents one of Liverpool’s most promising academy products, having made significant strides through the youth system since joining from Manchester United at under-14 level.
The Northern Ireland youth international signed his first professional contract with Liverpool in February 2024.
His playstyle has been compared to that of Curtis Jones.
The 2006-born talent has already represented Northern Ireland at youth international level, making his U17 debut in 2022 and scoring his first international goal in a UEFA European Championship qualifier against Denmark.
His progression through Liverpool’s ranks culminated in being named among the substitutes for a Champions League tie against PSV Eindhoven in January 2025.
