Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest update on Luis Diaz amid interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

According to the latest update from Fabrizio Romana, Barcelona have remained in contact with Diaz, while Bayern are preparing to return with a new proposal.

“Bayern had two bids rejected; they want to return with a new proposal,” Romano explained on his his Here We Go Podacast on YouTube.

“Bayern are speaking to the agents of the player.

Barcelona has also been speaking to the player’s agents in recent weeks, and they will speak again in the next days.

“So, Barcelona remain in conversation with Luis Diaz because he is a player the club loves.

But of course, they need to understand financially what happens because Liverpool keeps closing doors.
