Fabrizio Romano has revealed how close Alexander Isak is to joining Liverpool.

Speaking about the Swedish striker’s situation and possible transfer to Liverpool, Fabrizio Romano revealed how close Isak is to becoming a Red.
“For Alexander Isak, I can tell you that in terms of (his) percentage (of moving to) Liverpool, it is 60%,” he told DAZN on Monday evening.
“It is quite optimistic, but there is still work to do. There is still 40% to do before saying that Isak is going to be a Liverpool player.
Liverpool are speaking with Newcastle because they will be ready to make a record Premier League proposal for Alexander Isak.
If they want to open doors for his exit, then Liverpool will be ready to make something historical and sign Isak.”
The striker also revealed that Liverpool are “only focused on Isak in the moment.”
“In the moment Liverpool are only focused on Isak and those in Newcastle are aware of that,” he said.
“Newcastle are trying to find a replacement.
It is important to Newcastle, in order to give the green light to Liverpool for Isak, and Isak is waiting.
“Isak wants to go to Liverpool; he is not going to be with the Newcastle squad this week on the pre-season tour.”
