The Crystal Palace captain has kept quiet on the situation throughout most of the summer, with rumours from journalists emerging about his future.

Liverpool have arguably had one of the best transfer windows of all time.
They may have spent well over £400million on improving their first-team squad this summer, but due to the number of sales they’ve made, their net spend is nowhere close to that.
To make things even sweeter, the fact that Elliott is set to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy worth £35million means that, effectively, Guehi will have been brought in for nothing.

At the moment, it’s unclear how well Liverpool’s new players are going to work together, but if they all play to the very best of their abilities, it’s hard to think of a team that will stop them this season.
