Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has shared what Liverpool are hoping to do in the January transfer window, and unfortunately, it’s bad news for anyone expecting new signings.

Fingers crossed Liverpool don’t make any signings this summer, as that would indicate that all is going well at Anfield.

However, as Romano says, if Liverpool need to make signings they will, and after Harvey Elliott’s injury against Leeds, they may be pushed into adding to their squad.

The journalist says that the Reds are hoping to not do anything in the winter window, stating that they don’t like to panic buy.

However, if push comes to shove, Romano says Liverpool will make signings if they feel they need to, but in an ideal world, they won’t.

Of course, the African Cup of Nations could also be decisive in terms of influencing the Reds’ transfer plans as they could be without Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane during a crucial period of the season.
