Arne Slot certainly is not short of options as competition for places at Liverpool is higher than ever before.
The Reds have made a decent start to the season after being the only team to make it three wins from three, although performances have not been as convincing as most would have expected.
Now, however, players have a small break from club duty as they compete in the World Cup qualifiers for their respective nations, with these matches a chance for some stars to prove why they should be playing.
One position for Liverpool that Slot has decided to shake up this summer is at left-back, with Milos Kerkez coming in to take it away from Andy Robertson.
The Hungarian has started all of the games for the Reds so far, indicating that he is ready to hold down this position for years to come, although what Robertson did for Scotland may suggest that he will not simply step aside.

Robertson had been a stalwart in Liverpool’s sides for many years now, with the Scotsman becoming one of the most integral parts to Jurgen Klopp’s team.
However, last year saw an unexpected downturn in form that led to Kerkez coming in as a replacement, with rumours this summer being that Robertson could even depart.
The 31-year-old stayed, though, and after leading his national team to a 0-0 draw against Denmark, his performance has suggested that he is not going to give up that easily.

The Scottish media were also quick to praise the full-back and highlight just how good he was, with The Scotsman newspaper giving him an 8/10 in their player ratings.

They wrote: “The captain has not started this season for Liverpool but class is permanent,” indicating that he is still working hard to stay sharp.
The Herald also gave him an 8/10 rating and said: “Consistently provided enticing deliveries all game that were just asking to be attacked.
Looked fresh despite lack of game time for Liverpool or late.”
The Edinburgh Evening News also appreciated his crossing ability and hard work down the left flank, indicating that he might just be back to his best.
Kerkez has not had the best start to his Liverpool career, but in all fairness, after a shaky first two games, he showed his quality against Arsenal in their last match.
However, Robertson has shown that he is ready to come back into the team if called upon, suggesting the Hungarian is not as nailed on as he perhaps once looked.
For Slot, this is a good dilemma to have as he should push both players to work hard and compete, with rotation something that will be needed due to the amount of games the Reds will likely play.
Liverpool fans will love seeing Robertson performing well as he is certainly a fan-favourite at Anfield, with the Scotsman having a ‘fantastic’ career to date.
And, he has shown that he might not be ready to hang the boots up just yet, suggesting Kerkez still has plenty of work to do.
