Hamza Igamane’s future as a Rangers player continues to look uncertain as Feyenoord reportedly join the race to sign the striker.
Igamane arrived at Ibrox from AS FAR Rabat in his native Morocco last summer, notching 16 goals and three assists in 46 appearances for the club since.
However, the 22-year-old has proven inconsistent in front of goal, while three of his 12 Premiership strikes last season came from outside the box to help him outperform his xG by 3.28.
That level of output has ultimately proven unsustainable, with Igamane scoring just two goals in his last 14 appearances for club and country — and none in three Rangers appearances at the start of this season.

Everton, Lille, Rennes and Udinese have all been linked with Igamane this summer, while Football Insider also previously reported interest from Feyenoord (4 August).
Now, the Dutch giants appear to be stepping up that interest.
According to a report from the Daily Record, Feyenoord a preparing a loan offer for Igamane that will include a permanent option.

Football Insider verdict
It’s been a nightmare start to life at Ibrox for Russell Martin, with Rangers taking just two points from their opening two Scottish Premiership matches.
The Glasgow giants have made it past Panathinaikos and Viktoria Plzen in Champions League qualifying, but suffered a dreadful 3-1 defeat at home to Club Brugge in the first leg of their playoff — leaving them on the brink of elimination.
Meanwhile, they looked defensively suspect against a team two leagues below them as they only beat Alloa Athletic 4-2 in the Scottish League Cup.
Rangers are not expected to sack Martin this early into his reign, and more signings are expected to try and help the new boss — who is looking to stop Celtic overtaking their arch-rivals on league titles for the first time since the 1920s.
But Martin needs a turnaround soon and while player sales aren’t usually the way to improvement, this one may offer a little clarity of thought for the Rangers manager.
