Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter after reports emerged that Diogo Jota is set to return to first-team training this week.

Let’s see what the Anfield faithful had to say in regards to Jota’s imminent return…

Jota, 24, has been out of action since December 9 after he suffered a knee injury towards the end of the Champions League dead rubber at FC Midtjylland.

Indeed, his imminent return could see Liverpool’s upcoming clash against Sheffield United on Sunday as too early a return date for Jota.

Liverpool have only won six of the 17 matches in Jota’s absence, after all, a run which has left them 19 points behind league leaders Manchester City.

A more likely return for Liverpool’s No.20 would be the following game against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea on March 4.

This comes from The Mail.
