With Liverpool’s successful 2024/25 season now a thing of the past, all eyes are on the future at Anfield.

There was a new update on Monday morning, as journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Reds have made an offer of around £84m to Leverkusen.
“Liverpool first official bid for Florian Wirtz in excess of €100m [£84m] package with add-ons has been received by Bayer Leverkusen,” said Romano.
Wirtz already told Bayer that he only wants Liverpool.”
There is no word just yet on whether or not the bid has been accepted, but early indications are that Liverpool may need to go slightly higher.
