Bayern Munich has taken its missed opportunity to sign Florian Wirtz to Liverpool badly.

Matthaus fired back at Hoeness, saying he "lives in his own world" and citing the fee Liverpool paid for Wirtz as evidence supporting his argument about Bayern's stance on Woltemade.
Speaking to Bild, he said: "First of all, I have to say that I'm used to Uli Hoeness' insults and I don't take them seriously anymore.
