Florian Wirtz has completed his Liverpool medical ahead of his move being made official today.

The German international travelled with his entourage to Merseyside on Thursday afternoon.

His parents and partner travelled with the 22-year-old with the group taking a private jet from Cologne Bonn Airport.

Now Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Wirtz has successfully passed his medical, taking to X to report:

“Florian Wirtz has now successfully completed his medical at Liverpool!”

“Contract until June 2030 being signed right now with Wirtz set to be unveiled as new club record signing… …???? ?? ??, confirmed”
