Liverpool are closing in on Florian Wirtz, with key salary details revealed and his medical set for later this week.
According to Ben Jacobs, Liverpool are prepared to offer Florian Wirtz a base salary of around £10 million per year — approximately £195,000 a week.
The figure fits neatly within the club’s existing wage structure, placing Wirtz just behind Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk in the earnings hierarchy.
The deal also includes a range of performance-based incentives, which could take his total yearly earnings to £12.5 million — or roughly £243,000 a week, if individual and team targets are met.
These bonuses are tied to metrics like appearances, goals, assists, and potential team success across competitions.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Florian Wirtz is scheduled to undergo his Merseyside medical later this week on Friday, with his post-season holiday wrapping up earlier in the week.
The plan has been confirmed, with all parties having reached a full agreement since Tuesday.
The total deal is expected to cost Liverpool around £116 million, including guaranteed payments and structured add-ons.
That would make the 22-year-old the most expensive player in the club’s history, eclipsing the fee paid for Virgil van Dijk in 2018.
He is arriving off the back of a stellar season under Xabi Alonso, having produced 16 goals and 15 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
