Florian Wirtz is brushing off the pressure of his hefty price tag as he prepares to make a splash in the Premier League.
Liverpool forked out an initial £100m to secure Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, a figure that could rise to £116m with add-ons.
This potential fee surpasses the current British transfer record of £115m paid by Chelsea for Moises Caicedo from Brighton two years prior.
Liverpool are still pursuing Newcastle's Alexander Isak in a deal that may exceed Wirtz's club record fee, but if that move falls through, Wirtz is unfazed about being the priciest addition to the champions' squad in a summer that has seen them spend £265m so far.
