Florian Wirtz has reportedly passed the first part of his Liverpool medical.

The German international arrived in the UK on Thursday for his medical ahead of signing for the Reds.

He was joined by an entourage that included some of his family members.



The 22-year-old set off from Cologne to Manchester before connecting to Liverpool.

With his arrival now sorted, Wirtz has now completed the first part of his Liverpool medical.

This is according to Florian Plettenberg, who wrote about Wirtz that:

“He has completed the first part of his medical, with the part two to “follow tomorrow (Friday) morning.
