Liverpool star Luis Diaz is reportedly "convinced" that the potential arrival of Florian Wirtz at Anfield could signal his departure, with the Colombian forward doing all that he can to make a move to Barcelona this summer.
Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in 2022 for £37million and has largely been successful during his time on Merseyside.
He's found the back of the net 41 times in 148 appearances and arguably had the best season of his career last term, scoring 17 goals across all competitions as Liverpool clinched the Premier League title.
However, the 28-year-old is nearing the final two years of his contract with the Reds and there have been concerns he could depart soon, with Barcelona rumoured to be keen on bringing him to the Nou Camp.
This comes as Liverpool are in ongoing talks with Bayer Leverkusen regarding Wirtz, with the German club demanding £126m for their star player.

The Reds have already seen several bids rejected - including one totalling £114m - but remain hopeful of securing a deal soon for a talent they believe could revolutionise the club and become a key part of their midfield for the foreseeable future.
According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Diaz believes that the signing of Wirtz will pave the way for his own exit.
he has halted all contract renewal negotiations and is going to do "anything he can" to head to Spain.
The report further suggests that Diaz is "only thinking about playing for Barcelona next season" and wants to take advantage of the La Liga side's interest.
Diaz also reportedly "does not feel appreciated by Liverpool" and believes he may not get many opportunities to secure a transfer to a team he supported growing up.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot is eager to retain Diaz and pair him with Wirtz, having started the Colombian 28 times in the league last season.
The reigning English champions have already bolstered their squad with two new signings, snapping up Jeremie Frimpong from Leverkusen for a reported £30m, while goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is joining from Valencia after being bought a year ago for £25m.
In contrast, Trent Alexander-Arnold has departed for Real Madrid, and Caoimhin Kelleher has made a move to Brentford in a deal worth £12m.
This could result in financial complications and potentially even player swap deals, with Leverkusen reportedly interested in Curtis Jones and Jarell Quansah.
