Florian Wirtz is continuing to be linked with a possible transfer to Liverpool.
The Bayer Leverkusen playmaker has seen his name mentioned across the Reds' transfer rumour mill over these last few days, while the speculation has begun to ramp up over the last 24 hours.
Bayern Munich and Manchester City had previously been the two clubs who were thought to be in the running to sign Wirtz.
Liverpool have emerged as a potential destination in recent days, and now fresh updates are continuing to surface about the future of the Germany international.
Wirtz helped Leverkusen win the Bundesliga title last season and has scored 34 goals with 35 assists across the last two seasons.
The summer transfer window does not officially open until next month, but that will not stop rumours of the business that the Reds could complete this summer, with Wirtz seemingly a potential new signing.

Amid talk of Liverpool having an interest in signing Wirtz, the Reds could have an advantage in the race to bring the Germany international to Anfield.
German news outlet, Fussball Transfers, recently flagged up that Leverkusen are expressing an interest in signing Harvey Elliott from Liverpool.
It has been claimed that the Bundesliga club would need to sign a new No.10 if Wirtz was to depart - with Elliott seemingly being identified as a potential replacement.
Wirtz has previously spoken about his future at Leverkusen amid continued speculation about his future.
It was in an interview for Sports Illustrated earlier this month that Wirtz admitted that he would be interested in leaving his "comfort zone" by moving away from Germany.
"I'm quite lucky to have so many excellent clubs right on my doorstep - and to now be able to play for one of the best clubs in Germany and Europe," said Wirtz earlier this month.
"I have great respect for the guys here in Leverkusen, who come from South America or Africa, for example, and leave their families and surroundings behind for their careers.
