Florian Wirtz is reportedly set for a medical at Liverpool "next week', as details surrounding a "total agreement" emerge.
The German international has been chased by Liverpool throughout the summer, with the Premier League outfit having already had two bids rejected.
Bayer Leverkusen are believed to be holding out for a total fee of £126million for the 22-year-old - a deal that would see him become the most expensive Premier League player of all time.
After seeing two separate approaches knocked back, it's now suggested Liverpool are edging closer to securing the coveted playmaker's signature, with the chance a deal could be completed as early as next week.

According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, progress is being made between the two clubs, with a medical expected to take place next week.
Speaking in Germany ahead of the Nations League final, he told Sky Sports News: "I expect the medical to take place in the coming days, as we expect a total agreement between Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen within the next one, two or three days.
"As there has been a new offer from Liverpool in the last couple of days and the total package is now almost €150m (£126m) with a big package of possible add-ons included.
However, Liverpool are hesitant to match Leverkusen's £126m asking price and would prefer to come to a compromise instead.
