Leverkusen are yet to bid for either player but are assessing all options after losing Florian Wirtz to Liverpool.

Manchester United remain in talks for Bryan Mbeumo but will not be panicked into paying over the odds, talkSPORT understands.

If all goes to plan, Newcastle could have one of the most feared strike forces in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe's side are looking to add Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike to their front line this summer.
The potential arrival of Ekitike is with a view for him to play alongside Toon hero Alexander Isak in attack next season.
It would not be the first time the Frankfurt starlet has had the opportunity to be part of a goalscoring double act.
He previously combined to lethal effect with Manchester City's Omar Marmoush prior to his move to the Etihad Stadium.
But, as German football expert Seb Stafford-Bloor pointed out on talkSPORT's Hawksbee and Jacobs, the duo were worth far more than just goals and assists.

Brentford have reportedly triggered Omari Hutchinson's release clause at Ipswich Town.
The Daily Mail claim the Bees have submitted an offer worth £35 million for the forward, which means he's free to speak to Brentford.
In 31 Premier League appearances last season, the 21-year-old scored three times and set up a further two, while he played all across the frontline.
This could be seen as a boost for Man United in their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo, with Hutchinson a potential replacement for the forward.
The Red Devils have been locked in negotiations with the Bees over Mbeumo for weeks, but the two clubs remain apart in their valuation.
Perhaps Hutchinson moving to the Gtech will speed this process up.
