Newcastle United are expecting Alexander Isak to return to first-team training next week, which will be August 5.
The Magpies have rejected an offer of £110 million from Liverpool today, with the Reds not wanting to get into a transfer saga.
That means, as of now, Liverpool aren't going to submit another offer.
Craig Hope reports that the Toon now want to see Isak at Benton next week.
The forward isn't part of the club's pre-season tour to Asia due to a thigh injury, but he also informed Newcastle of his desire to leave.

Liverpool have no plans to get into a cycle of rejected bids for Alexander Isak, talkSPORT understands.
The nature of Newcastle's rebuttal means the Premier League champions will not follow up with a second offer, for now.
It has been regarded as futile, unless Newcastle change their stance and contact Liverpool.
As we reported earlier today, Newcastle rejected a British record transfer offer.
It was understood to be worth more than £120million.

Mike Keegan, the chief sports reporter at the Daily Mail, has given an update on the situation regarding Sheffield Wednesday.
Players have been told that their wages could be delayed for the third month in a row amid financial issues that have rocked the club.
Wednesday have been placed under a transfer embargo by the EFL due to non-payment of transfer fees.
Owner Dejphon Chansiri has faced continued scrutiny and calls to sell the club, although he is reportedly looking for £100million to do so.
Manager Danny Rohl has also left his position, and the players have refused to play in a friendly against Burnley this weekend.
"It seems to be getting worse and worse by the day," Keegan said on talkSPORT Breakfast.
"The situation now is that the EFL are extremely concerned about the situation, and there are doubts that they will be able to fulfil the fixture against Leicester, which is coming up a week on Sunday.
"Gabby was talking there about what your local club means to you, and I'm an Oldham fan, we've had similar.
"And for Sheffield Wednesday, it's probably the biggest that we've seen.
For me, it's the biggest club outside the Premier League which, as things transpire, might be a good thing as Chansiri looks to sell.
"We've had a lot of these situations unfortunately, and you talked about Morecambe, but I think this is probably the biggest one yet."
Sheffield City Council have closed the North Stand at Hillsborough due to safety fears in what is another key blow to Wednesday, with their season beginning next weekend.
"As things stand, these people have bought season tickets, you're not allowed in," Keegan added.
"They sold a player for £1.5million, Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri, 15-year-old kid, it should be a great moment for their academy.
"'This is what we're here to do, we bring these players through and if we can get clubs like Manchester City interested, then we make money for the football club.'
"But, there in a situation now where any money that they're making is going straight to the EFL.
The centre-back is due to complete his medical at the Championship side.
Coady will bring Premier League experience to the Welsh outfit after spells at Liverpool, Wolves, Everton and Leicester.
He has also earned ten caps with the England national team.
talkSPORT also understands that Wrexham are set to sign Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town for a club record £7.5m.
