Wales captain Aaron Ramsey has agreed a deal to sign for Mexican side Club Universidad Nacional.

The former Arsenal and Juventus midfielder would become the first high-profile British player to play in the Mexican league should the formalities of the move be completed.

Ramsey was appointed Cardiff interim manager for the final three games of the Sky Bet Championship season after the club sacked Omer Riza.

The 34-year-old was unable to prevent Cardiff from being relegated to the third tier, but reports had linked him to taking over the Bluebirds on a full-time basis this summer.

Ramsey has made it clear he wants to continue his playing career and lead Wales at the World Cup next summer.

"There's a lot to play for and that World Cup is a massive carrot being dangled," Ramsey said in April.

Ramsey returned to his boyhood club Cardiff in 2023, but injuries have restricted his game time and he is currently recovering from hamstring surgery.

Club Universidad Nacional, known as Pumas UNAM, finished sixth in the 2024-25 Mexican standings and qualified for the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Jordan Henderson was rated 2/10 by talkSPORT's Adrian Durham - with nine England stars handed a 3/10 rating for their performances against Andorra.

Henderson was surprisingly named in Thomas Tuchel's starting XI - becoming England's oldest player to feature since Frank Lampard in 2014.

But his display was enough for Durham to never want to see Henderson in an England shirt again.

Having his say on the Ajax midfielder, Durham simply stated: "Just no."

Noni Madueke received the highest scoring with a 7/10 rating, with Jude Bellingham [4/10] and Harry Kane [5/10] the only other to players to receive more than a 3/10.

Even Tuchel was handed a 2/10, as Durham raged: "He isn’t getting the best out of the players.

"He promised to entertain and three games in we’ve definitely not been entertained.

"And imagine not bringing Morgan Gibbs-White on until injury time, what's that all about?

"Can’t wait to say it to his face at St Georges Park on talkSPORT on Wednesday afternoon..."

Thomas Tuchel has slammed England for their alck or urgency in the closing stages of their 1-0 win away at Andorra.

The Three Lions lacked creativity and seemed to take their foot off the gas towards the end of their second half, which has rubbed Tuchel up the wrong way.

He told ITV: "We're not happy with the performance, of course.

"We started quite well in the first 20 or 25 minutes, but that was the only time it felt like it was only a matter of time.

"We created a lot of chances, half-chances and set pieces, and it felt like we were going to score and keep on going.

"But we completely lost our momentum and couldn't get it back from the whole of the first half.

"We got a little bit in the first 15 minutes of the second, but then ended up in a period which was by far not good enough.

"There was a lack of urgency, quality and energy."

Before adding: "It could be both [physical and mental]

It is what it is, we can admit it's not what we expect from us.

"We need to do better, with a bit of time to look at it in detail and address it clearly and directly and do better on Tuesday [against Senegal]."

England skipper Harry Kane has admitted England need to play better after being booed off the pitch by the travelling supporters.

The Three Lions beat Andorra 1-0 on Saturday to leave England with nine points from their opening three World Cup qualifiers

At 1-0 with five or ten minutes to go you have to be careful, because it's an important game to get three points in.

"It is what it is and we move on."

Thomas Tuchel has created history by becoming the first England manager to register three wins without conceding in their first three games.

The Three Lions may have flattered to deceive in their 1-0 win against Andorra, but Tuchel has one reason to smile.

The German has now overseen victories against Albania, Latvia and Andorra - keeping clean sheets in each of the World Cup qualifiers.

No boss has ever achieved the feat in their first three games in the 153 years since England's first international fixture against Scotland in 1872.

And Tuchel will be hoping for another shutout against Senegal at the City Ground next week.

And that's it!

England have emerged victorious in a one-sided affair to make it three wins on the bounce for Thomas Tuchel.

Harry Kane's 50th minute strike proved to be the difference in what was his 72nd international goal.

But Tuchel knows his side must improve as they struggled for creativity in the final third.

England were greeted to boos at half-time and again at full-time in what was a poor performance.

The Three Lions will now prepare for their friendly clash against Senegal on Tuesday.

73' - Great save to deny Eze!

Almost an instant impact from Eze after he got on the end of Bellingham's dinked in cross.

Running onto the ball from the middle of the six-yard box, Eze arrowed an header which looked to be heading into the roof of the net.

However, Alvarez expertly tipped the ball over the bar.

He's been the best player on the pitch.

64' - Double substitution!

Jordan Henderson and Cole Palmer have been hauled off, with the two midfielders failing to make an impact.

And they have been replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Eberechi Eze.

It has led to a shuffle in the team, with Alexander-Arnold moving to right-back, with Jones moved into midfield.

Eze meanwhile has moved into the left wing, with Madueke switching to the right flank, Rogers now playing as the No10.

62' - England almost make it 2-0!

Again it's Madueke who is the danger man, with the Chelsea winger latching onto a Kane pass.

Madueke skipped inside the box, but struck his right-footed attempt into Alvarez's hands.

He should have done better.

It is believed that Gittens has agreed a seven-year deal with the Blues.

Chelsea will now look to find an agreement with BVB to sign the youngster after formalising their interest in the player.

Dortmund are keen on selling Gittems, who has informed the Bundesliga giants he wishes to join Chelsea

Enzo Maresca has made bringing in a left winger a top priority after the club decided against signing Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal.

50' - HARRY KANE FINALLY BREAKS THE DEADLOCK!

Kane missed his initial effort when sent one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

The rebound found it's way to Maduele, who sent in a low cross-shot which found Kane at the back post.

And from just a few yards out, Kane simply couldn't miss.

His goal is the 450th from his professional career for club and country in what is a milestone strike.

46' - We are back underway for the second half.

No change at the break - much to the dismay of fans watching at the ground and on the television.

Stuart Pearce meanwhile is calling for Myles Lewis-Skelly and Trent Alexander-Arnold to come on.

And straight from kick-off Andorra have the first chance of the match, but once again, the strike never trouble Jordan Pickford.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane is less than impressed by England's performance so far against Andorra.

The Three Lions have had ten shots, but have been reduced to scraps for the large majority of the first half.

Speaking on ITV, Keane said: "Credit to Andorra, they've sat in

But the longer it's 0-0, that will keep their spirits and energy levels up."

He continued: "When England start going backwards and take the safe option, Andorra are delighted.

"That's why you have to keep going at them."

Before adding: "You always think [Harry] Kane is going to get you a goal but he looks a bit sluggish on one or two occasions."

It's boos from the England fans as the referee blows for the half-time whistle.

The 7,000 Three Lions supporters have not been impressed by what they have seen from Thomas Tuchel's men.

While England have dominated possession, they have created barely anything of note besides the Harry Kane chance.

Speaking on talkSPORT commentary, Adrian Durham said: "This is totally unacceptable with the players that are on the pitch."

Travelling England fans also booed away at Andorra in 2008 in Barcelona under Fabio Capello when it was 0-0 at half-time.

England ended up winning that match 2-0.

36' - Another shot on target for Bellingham!

Again it's a strike from distance which Alvarez easily saves.

But in truth, England are now struggling to create anything of note, with Andorra looking comfortable in their defensive shape.

Speaking of the match, England icon Stuart Pearce said on talkSPORT commentary: "The Andorrans have settled into the game and are defending quite well.

"England probably look slightly better when we flush them out and get at their wing-backs."

Before adding: "We know that Reece James has the ability to break forward.

"But in the position he is in [left-back], he will never break forward because he has a tendency to keep coming on his right foot."
