talkSPORT understands that Liverpool have rebuffed an attempt from Bayern Munich to open talks over Luis Diaz.
The Reds' view is that the Colombian isn't for sale after his vital contribution to the Premier League title win last year.
This is the second time Liverpool have rejected an offer from a team to sign him after Barcelona tried earlier in the summer.
Al Nassr are still interested, but it is likely to take a crazy bid for the Reds to consider selling Diaz.

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.
The Spanish international joins after a successful loan spell with Bournemouth last year.
Kepa is the world's most expensive goalkeeper after joining Chelsea for £71.8 million in the summer of 2018.
However, Arsenal are only paying £5m for his signature, and he will most likely be the rotation goalkeeper, with David Raya the established number one.
Unsurprisingly, he is delighted to join Mikel Arteta's side.
Speaking to the club's website, he said: “I'm really, really happy to be here, really excited and looking forward to what is coming.
“The ambition that is shown in this club, when I talk with Mikel [Arteta] and Inaki [Cana], how much they show me their desire to win… I think we are so close to winning and, hopefully, altogether, we can achieve it.”

talkSPORT understands that Aston Villa have joined the race for Anthony Elanga.
Newcastle United are very keen on the Swedish international and have seen a bid worth £45 million turned down.
Nottingham Forest are seeking around £60m to part ways, and talks with the Toon continue.
However, after avoiding any panic PSR sales after selling their women's team, Villa are now contemplating a move for Elanga.
This isn't good news for Newcastle fans, who have seen their club miss out on Joao Pedro to Chelsea.
The Magpies had identified Pedro as one of their top targets, but after seeing an offer turned down, he has decided to join Chelsea.

Larsen's debut top-flight campaign was very fruitful.
The striker scored 14 times for Vitor Pereira's men and will be looking to build on that this year.

If you are just waking up, you might be shocked to know that Manchester City have been dumped out of the Club World Cup.
The Citizens lost 4-3 to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal in the early hours of the morning.
Bernardo Silva opened the scoring before a crazy second half sent the match to extra time.
Marcos Leonardo equalised for Simone Inzaghi's men before Malcolm put them into the lead.
Erling Haaland scored to make it 2-2, but it was soon 3-2 to Al Hilal as Kalidou Koulibaly crashed home a header.
Phil Foden came off the bench to equalise, but there was still time for Leonardo to score a late winner.
