Former Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace goalkeeper Matt Turner has been turfed out at Lyon straight after signing.
The American No.1 joined the French side in an €8million (£6.4m) deal, but L'Equipe claim he's being shipped straight out to MLS side New England Revolution on loan.
That's because the deal was agreed under former club president John Textor, who has since left his post to help the club avoid administrative relegation to Ligue 2.
However, according to L'Equipe, the new bosses at the club have no interest in Turner, but were forced to pay Forest the money anyway.
New England will cover the entirety of Turner's wages for the next season, but he still has a three-year contract at OL where he's unwanted.
Overall Turner has 17 Premier League appearances to his name with Forest, while he made a further 11 starts in the cups for Palace and Arsenal.
