Ange Postecoglou has emerged as a new head coach option for Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Postecoglou was sacked by Tottenham in June despite winning the Europa League, their first trophy in 17 years, just weeks beforehand.

talkSPORT reported that he is keen on a Premier League return amid speculation of Nuno Espirito Santo's future at Nottingham Forest.

But now he could be set to move to either Germany or Turkey.

Leverkusen announced the sacking of Erik ten Hag on Monday after just two Bundesliga matches.

Fenerbahce are also looking for a new appointment after their decision to part ways with Jose Mourinho.

Eastleigh have confirmed that Archie Harris has been discharged from hospital following his sickening collision with Jean Belehouan.

The National League match between Eastleigh and Scunthorpe United was abandoned on Tuesday night due to the incident.

Harris and Scunthorpe man Belehouan received urgent medical attention on the pitch.

Flags are understood to have been held around the players to protect them, and an ambulance was called.

Eastleigh posted an update on X on Wednesday morning to confirm that Harris is out of hospital and set to rest for the next 48 hours.

Scunthorpe then commented on the status of Belehouan.

"Our own Jean Belehouan travelled back on the team coach last night following medical attention at the Silverlake Stadium, with the bus not returning to the Attis Arena until around 6am.

Across his two spells at Man City he played 358 games, winning five Premier League titles, the Champions League and more.

Gundogan said as his depature was confirmed: “Manchester City will always hold a special place in my heart.

“We have enjoyed so much success in our time together and there have been so many unforgettable moments not least being captain for the Treble-winning season.

“To win the Premier League and FA Cup trophies meant so much to me but to then be afforded the opportunity of lifting the Champions League trophy for this Club for the first time, especially in Istanbul, will live with me forever.

“I have no doubts Manchester City will enjoy much more success in the future and I will certainly be watching on from afar as I continue my career in Turkey, a country that means ever such a lot to me.”

Leeds came close to signing Harry Wilson on a permanent deal in the final hours of the window before Fulham pulled the plug.

talkSPORT understands Leeds met the Cottagers' quoted asking price over the weekend.

However, Fulham were focused on incomings which delayed any movement.

By deadline day, Fulham signalled they wanted to renegotiate and Leeds made an improved offer.

There was an initial agreement resulting in a proposed Deal Sheet signed by Leeds and Wilson and a private jet was even put on standby to transport the Welsh international to Yorkshire

But Fulham communicated the transfer was off just minutes before Monday's 7pm deadline after their own move for Chelsea's Tyrique George collapsed.

Emi Martinez could yet get his move from Aston Villa, talkSPORT understands.

Martinez looked to have played his last game for Villa after being left out of Sunday's 3-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace amid interest from Manchester United.

United opted to invest in youth by signing Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp instead of Martinez.

But the Argentine World Cup winner is wanted by Galatasaray, and the Turkish transfer window remains open until September 12.

Gala were keen on Ederson, but the Manchester City icon joined rivals Fenerbahce instead.

Villa are expected to allow Martinez to leave if they receive a suitable offer to help with UEFA spending rules.

Alexander Isak's agent, Vlado Lemic, sent a cryptic message to talkSPORT after his client's move to Liverpool went through on deadline day.

The Swede completed a British record transfer to Anfield from Newcastle United, which talkSPORT understands to be worth £125million.

And after a summer in which Isak refused to train or play for Newcastle, Lemic sent some quotes to host Jim White.

He read them out live on-air during the White and Jordan show.

The message read: "It's nice when you have someone to be with, but it is even nicer when you know who you will never be with again."

Once the deal was confirmed, the Toon issued a 37-word statement about Isak, while the player hasn't said anything about Newcastle yet on social media.

He is now training with Sweden ahead of the September international break, where he is training with former teammates Emil Krafth and Anthony Elanga.

The only current Toon players to acknowledge Isak's move to Liverpool are Anthony Gordon and Sven Botman.

On an Instagram story, Gordon said: "Regardless of the situation and what's gone on.
