talkSPORT understands that Jack Grealish is set to be left out of the Manchester City Club World Cup squad.

The winger found his game time significantly reduced in the closing stages of last season.

But the Citizens are willing to part ways with Grealish and are happy to give him the Club World Cup off to find a new club.

The England international joined City in the summer of 2021 from Aston Villa, and he was a key part of the 2022/23 treble-winning team.

However, in all of his other years at the Etihad, Grealish has failed to live up to the heights of his time at Villa Park.

Tottenham Hotspur's Brennan Johnson has been spotted in Wales training with a new tattoo, and it was inevitable.

The winger wrote himself into Spurs history by scoring the winner in the 2024/25 Europa League final against Manchester United.

So, of course, he's now got a tattoo of the Europa League badge on his leg.

It would have been rude not to, and he now has a permanent reminder of that moment.

Serie A minnows Como have shut down rumours that manager Cesc Fabregas is set to take over at Inter.

Reports in Italy claimed that Fabregas had agreed to replace Simone Inzaghi as Inter boss after the Italian announced his exit on Tuesday ahead of a lucrative switch to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Fabregas is reportedly keen to take over at the San Siro and views the move as the perfect career step-up.

The 38-year-old is believed to have spoken with Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta over the phone to discuss the potential move.

But Como president Mirwan Suwarso has since poured cold water on the claims and says the former Arsenal and Chelsea ace is going nowhere.

“We have a long term project and Cesc Fabregas is a crucial part of it.

Kieran Tierney's Arsenal release has been confirmed to bring an end to his six years in north London.

The Scottish left-back won the FA Cup in his opening season after arriving from Celtic and quickly became a firm fan favourite at the Emirates.

The signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko limited his playing time, and after spending the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Real Sociedad, he featured in 20 games in the 24/25 term after returning to Arsenal.

Elsewhere, Jorginho's exit has also been confirmed - two-and-a-half-years after linking up from Chelsea.

Meanwhile Raheem Sterling and Neto will go back to Chelsea and Bournemouth following their season-long loan spells.

As for defensive midfielder Thomas Partey, Arsenal have declared they are in discussions to extend the Ghanaian's stay.

Though talkSPORT understands that Barcelona are also speaking to the 31-year-old.

Tottenham will only listen to significant offers from clubs interested in club captain Heung-min Son this summer, reports claim.

The South Korean star is still a key target for teams in Saudi Arabia, having turned down the chance to move to the Middle East two years ago.

There have been questions asked over the forward's future after his tenth season in a Spurs shirt.

While the club's skipper and still a key member of the team, leading them to Europa League glory this season, Son turns 33 next month.

Plus, his 11 goals this term was his lowest tally since his debut season for Tottenham in 2015/16.

He is set to enter the final year of his contract in July, and so it would be natural to think this would be a perfect time to cash in.

But Press Association claim Tottenham would only be willing to let their star man leave this summer for a significant transfer fee.

Spurs are set to visit South Korea again for pre-season - the third time in four years they have travelled to Son's homeland to prepare for a new campaign.

The Manchester United legend has been shown the door by Boro after they finished just four points outside the play-off places.

Boro announced the news on Wednesday afternoon, while also confirming that club icon Jonathan Woodgate will be leaving his role as their assistant manager.

A statement read: “Middlesbrough Football Club has today parted company with head coach Michael Carrick.

Chelsea target Mike Maignan would solve all of their goalkeeper issues if he was to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

That's the view of Italian football expert Daniele Fisichella, who has commented on what the AC Milan star will bring to the Blues should they manage to sign the Frenchman.

talkSPORT understands that the 29-year-old, who has just a year left on his contract at the San Siro, has been the subject of an approach by Chelsea.

Speaking on the talkSPORT Breakfast show, Fisichella said of the player: "They [Milan] don't want to sell him.

"Mike Maignan is considered one of the centerpieces of the Milan defence, a very poor Milan defence it has to be said this season, but not because of Maignan.

"He has been captain this season as well, and if it goes ahead, then Chelsea are absolutely in safe hands.

"If his nickname 'Magic Mike' is anything to go by, well I can guarantee you, he's been magic, he's been one of the best players for Milan.

"The reason Milan won the Scudetto four seasons ago - extremely reactive, extremely powerful when he comes out and claims the ball.

"But also Chelsea would be acquiring a libero, a sweeper, he's exceptionally good with his feet, he can play outside of the box, he has got a couple of assists in Serie A as well.

"So he can launch it long, he has a good weapon to bypass the press and he's an accomplished professional - extremely serious."

Before adding: "He is consistently in the top three of goalkeepers in Italy."
