The summer transfer window is right around the corner and Europe's biggest clubs aren't wasting time.

The newly-expanded tournament is why FIFA have sanctioned two summer transfer windows, the first of which runs for the opening 10 days of next month.

That gives the likes of Liverpool an opportunity to get their business done early, with Jeremie Frimpong chosen to be Trent Alexander-Arnold's replacement at right-back.



Manchester City are also preparing for a big summer, having lost the FA Cup final to ensure their first trophy-less season since Pep Guardiola's maiden campaign in 2016-17.

Jeremie Frimpong will reportedly have a medical in the coming days ahead of his £29.5million switch to Liverpool.

Frimpong will sign a five-year contract.
