According to a recent report from The Sun, Newcastle United and Liverpool are interested in a move for midfielder Abdulkadir Omur.

And that’s because reports suggest that the Premier League duo are eyeing up a move for the £9 million-rated sensation (as per Transfermarkt) in a bid to bolster their respective attacking ranks, but with first team football much more likely at St James’ Park, Omur should forget about Liverpool and instead seek a move to the North East.

Newcastle and Liverpool fans… what do you think?

But the only way to do that is by playing regularly, and with that very much not a given at Liverpool, and as such more likely at Newcastle, the attacking sensation should opt for the latter over the former.

The 19-year-old sensation currently plays his football at Turkish outfit Trabzonspor having come up through the youth ranks at the Super Lig club, with his mightily impressive displays in his homeland seemingly attracting the attention of Rafa Benitez and Jurgen Klopp.

Whereas the door appears firmly open for the Turkey Under-21 international to command regular football at Newcastle, as the Magpies certainly aren’t blessed with too many quality options in the midfield or attacking ranks.

Ultimately, the arrival of Naby Keita and Fabinho at Anfield during the summer added even more strength to Klopp’s already well-stocked midfield ranks at Liverpool, as the Reds chief sought the additions needed to take his side closer to a Premier League title challenge this time round.
