Liverpool know which players they want to sell but some are proving trickier to move on than they perhaps first thought.
The Reds have had a breathtaking transfer window and fans have been able to welcome a plethora of new talent, but they will also have to say goodbye to some in the process.
Liverpool want to make some sales to raise finances and even make room for any new additions, with the attack the most likely area to see some turnover.
Federico Chiesa is just one player who has been heavily linked with an Anfield departure, with the Italian also keen on a move back to his homeland.
He has not been short of interest but with the winger only wanting a Serie A return, he has certainly limited his options, with it looking like at one point that he might not make a move unless he changes his stance.
However, his patience may now have paid off as the request of a former Everton player might have just kick-started his exit and means he will get the move he has wanted after all.

Many teams have wanted Chiesa but financial issues, combined with his fitness problems, have put a lot of clubs off.
However, Atalanta appear ready to take the gamble as previous reports suggested that if they sell Ademola Lookman, they will make a move for Chiesa.

And, with Fabrizio Romano confirming that the former Everton man has submitted an official transfer request, the Liverpool winger might be closer to the exit than he has been before.

Inter Milan are very keen on Lookman and they have already had one bid rejected for the Nigerian, with the player’s transfer request a key indication that a second offer might now be accepted.
Around €12m (£10.4m) is what Atalanta are willing to pay for the 27-year-old, meaning the Reds would, somehow, still make a loss.
Chiesa wants to move to improve his chances of making Italy’s World Cup squad next summer, suggesting it is a good move, but it is hard to see where Liverpool really benefit by letting him go.
Last season, Chiesa may not have got many chances but when he did, he often showed flashes of brilliance and really proved that there is a player in there somewhere.
And, with the Reds already relatively short for attacking options, there does not really seem any need to let him go, especially as he cost a very minimal fee.
If Arne Slot can promise him more minutes next season, which he should get given the amount of games they will likely play, the Italian might try and stick it out for one more year.
He can still add a lot and his quality, mixed with his versatility, make him a good option off the bench.
He is also adored by fans and that bond could really help spur him on, suggesting Liverpool should try their best to keep hold of him.
