Liverpool fans got to catch a glimpse of the beloved Jurgen Klopp in and around the city two weeks ago during the club’s title weekend.

The German started the weekend with an appearance at the LFC Foundation Gala Ball on May 23, 2025, marking his first official return to Liverpool since departing as manager in 2024.

Klopp has personally donated €100,000 to fund food support programs during school holidays.

The gala also provided a platform for Klopp to address the Trent Alexander-Arnold situation, with the former Reds boss not happy with some of the booing that occurred in the 26-year-old’s final games last season.

Days later, Klopp attended Liverpool’s Premier League trophy celebration at Anfield, where the Spirit of Shankly (SOS) supporters’ group surprised him with an 18-inch bronze statue.

Crafted by sculptor Andy Edwards, the artwork immortalized Klopp’s iconic fist-pump celebration from his final away match at Villa Park.

And it seems like the 57-year-old can’t keep away from his Liverpool days for too long.

Former Liverpool man Ragnar Klavan posted an Instagram image of himself and the German on Instagram.

He captioned the image:

“Friends?

See you already this Friday the 6th in June at the international top soccer conference in Tallinn Cruise Terminal!” wrote the former Augsburg man.

“Exciting discussions are planned and Europe’s top performers will take the stage.”

Klavan retired in December 2024 and has transitioned into football governance.

His partnership with Klopp aligns with his campaign for the presidency of the Estonian Football Association (EJL), challenging Aivar Pohlak in elections scheduled for June 19, 2025.

Klopp’s involvement in the Tallinn conference is not known, but he may well be there to support his former player or even speak at the event to endorse his former player.
