Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling has revealed that he is 'open' to leaving his current club.

The 26-year-old former Liverpool ace has been at City since his £44m exit from Anfield in 2015, winning three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four League Cups during his time at the Etihad Stadium.

Sterling, who signed as a youngster from Queen's Park Rangers, netted 18 times in 95 Premier League games during four seasons as a professional with the Reds.

Sterling, who was one of England's main driving forces en route to the Euro 2020 final during the summer, has struggled to find the back of the net with regularity this season, netting just once so far in the Premier League, and he intimated that he has an eye on a life beyond Pep Guardiola's side.

But a potential domestic switch to Liverpool or elsewhere seems unlikely, with Sterling stating he would like to chance his arm in a different European League.

"As an English player all I know is the Premier League and I have always had in my mind that maybe one day I would like to play abroad and maybe come up against that challenge.
