However, with clubs such as Tottenham and RB Leipzig circling around Elliott for a potential summer transfer, his future is still up in the air.
However, while speaking to FootballJOE, former Tottenham captain Michael Dawson gave his thoughts on whether Elliott would be a good addition for Thomas Frank’s Tottenham this season.
“[I’m a] big fan of Harvey, you know, whenever he plays for Liverpool, he never lets them down,” he said.

“And he’s probably getting to a point now where he needs to go and play some football consistently.
“And I’m sure in this window he will end up somewhere.”

That is, unless Elliott is kept on and used as Salah’s back-up.
Indeed, Federico Chiesa currently occupies that role, but since the young Englishman can’t play as a number nine, he can be used on the wing; it makes sense for him to be Salah’s back-up.

Not only does this make sense for Elliott, but it also allows Chiesa to use his pace and his keen eye for goal to become the focal point of Slot’s attack, whenever Ekitike isn’t available or needs a rest, of course.
