And here’s the eleven players we think Arne Slot will send out to lap up their champions’ applause.

Slot has promised some rotation for the remaining games of the season, but we don’t think he’ll go too overboard.

Liverpool are facing good opposition and the boss will want to see positive signs ahead of next season.

Setting the tone will be the selection of first choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Conor Bradley is back in training, but as the youngster is unlikely to be at full fitness, Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to continue at right-back.

With Joe Gomez still missing, Slot has limited rotational options in the middle of defence and we don’t think he’ll use them here.

Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk are likely to continue.

MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES

Left-back has been a position Slot has switched up over recent weeks, and is one of the key areas of focus for an upgrade next season.

Having started Andy Robertson last week, we think the Liverpool head coach will bring back Kostas Tsimikas for some fresh legs.

Liverpool’s midfield has been a fairly consistent rotating cast of four players to fill three positions all season long.

But having finally tied up the league title, surely now is the time to give Ryan Gravenberch a rest.

Gravenberch has started all 34 of Liverpool’s Premier League matches so far, but there’s no need to make that 35 here.

Instead, Curtis Jones should come into the deeper lying role, with Alexis Mac Allister providing some consistency from the previous XI.

In the more advanced midfield role, we think the time has finally come for Slot to hand Harvey Elliott his first league start of the season.

The 22-year-old has been frustrated by a lack of game time this season, leading to claims Liverpool could sell Elliott for around £45m this summer.

But having waited so patiently for his chance to come, we think the No.19 will finally get in on Sunday.

Although he does deserve the day off, we’d love to see Slot try and tear Mohamed Salah away from this one.

There’s no way he doesn’t start.

In the meantime, it will be fascinating to see what Slot does with the other two positions.

Federico Chiesa is a player most fans would love to see given a chance having barely featured at all in his debut season at Anfield.

And while we think Chiesa’s time will come in the next four games, we’re not sure it’ll be on Sunday.

Instead, we’re backing Slot to keep Cody Gakpo out on the left wing, with Diogo Jota coming in for Luis Diaz down the middle.
