Liverpool trained at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby on Monday afternoon ahead of flying to Italy to take on AC Milan in the Champions League.

These are the four things that learned from the session, with the Reds expected to depart for Italy later today.

The training session, overseen by head of fitness and conditioning Andreas Kornmayer, saw the players do some light running before they moved into a simple passing drill.

A possible starting XI could look something like this: Alisson; N. Williams, Konaté, Matip, Tsimikas; Fabinho, Morton, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Origi, Minamino

While there will not be wholesale changes, and certain first-teamers will likely play, Klopp cannot take any unnecessary risks with anyone who will be needed over the next few weeks.

Joe Gomez was back among his teammates, as was Naby Keïta, with Jürgen Klopp likely to detail their involvement in this game in his press conference later in the day.

Thiago Alcântara, Jordan Henderson and Diogo Jota appeared to be missing from the session, but each has played a lot of football lately and there is no reason to play them against Milan.
