Frimpong has experience playing as a full-back, winger, and wing-back, so it will be interesting to see how Arne Slot develops him in the right-back role.

He brings pace, energy, relentless work rate, and sharp link-up play, offering a completely different profile to anything we’ve seen at Liverpool in recent years.

He’s also a proven winner, having played a key role in Bayer Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga title — their first ever.
